Match Report – Round 11 v UNI OF QLD

The Rococos Bar and Bistro Noosa Tigers recorded a strong fifteen goal thumping of University of QLD in Brisbane last Saturday as all eyes now turn to the top of the table clash against arch rivals Maroochydore this Saturday 30th June. Whilst the Noosa Tigers AFC started a tad slowly against the students, once they turned up the heat it was evident that the Tigers attack on the ball and far superior ball movement would be the difference.

Ruckman Connor McDonald dominated in the ruck and gave first use to the likes of Stack, Hill, Fitzpatrick and Woods whilst bustling forward Liam Kenny bagged six majors in a dominating performance up front. Once again the goal kicking was shared amongst several Tigers which is such a major reason why the Noosa side sit half a game clear on top of the table. The backline again led by skipper Aaron Laskey continues to be miserly with the inform Harry Maher along with Tyler Stack vying for best on ground honours,

On-baller Jayden Holt returned from injury with a commanding showing as we lead into a very intriguing derby at Fishermans road this Saturday. This match is one always not to be missed as this match will most likely determine who will finish on top at the end of the home and away season. Can’t wait!

Go tigers!
