The Noosa U8 Blue team traveled to Maroochydore Friday night and were very excited to be playing under the lights for the first time this season.  The Joey’s were down players, so once again a member from the Blue’s happily swapped jumpers each quarter to make it an even match.

Freddie started the night off with a bang with a great mark which he cleverly converted to a goal. Liam was too hot to handle, side stepping his opponents with ease and delivering superb ball to Campbell, who kept sending it forward.

Orlando & Jake were excellent in defence, well supported by our newest recruit Zack. Taylor had another solid game, and Oliver was outstanding, bravely earning best on ground with a mark reversing into traffic. Ryder had another ripper game too.

A fun night for all, including the many supporters cheering from the sidelines.

The under 13 Noosa White girls had a tremendous battle with Kawana last Sunday going down by 34 points. The margin does seem big however the state of play was far from one sided.

The smaller Noosa girls never gave up and just pressured their much stronger opponents the entire game. Rylee Chapple was again the Tigers best showcasing some fantastic running and skill over all four quarters. Amarni Moore produced a dashing display of running football whilst Charli Brown and Ceana Flanagan worked really hard in the ruck and in defence. Charlie Todd battled hard up forward whilst Georgia Pitts was very solid again at centre half back. The Noosa White girls are improving week by week and should be proud of last Sunday’s efforts.

The Noosa Tiger Under 17 girls had a commanding 80 point win over Coolum last Friday night in a pretty even team performance. The Tigers moved the ball well and their team first attitude is really starting to come to the fore. Their overall skill level has picked up over the past fortnight as we come in toward the business end of the season. Hannah McKenzie was clearly the best player on the ground with her great running and clean skills. Captains Teesh Fox and Haylee Beauclerc continued their good form over the full four quarters whilst usual suspect Mia Woodburn picked up plenty of possessions once again.

Courtney Page booted 5 goals in the second half to again be in the best whilst the constant improvement of Audrey Holt is certainly not going unnoticed. A really good win with a massive test this Friday night at home vs Maroochydore.
