Ben Collins: Welcome back to Noosa mate, What was the defining factors for you to return to us for 2024?
Jono: Attractive to come home and play for my junior club and helping the Tigers return to Finals footy, also looking forward to reconnecting with some old teammates in Lewy & Richie.
BC: What club have you come from?
Jono: Aspley AFC (Reigning Premiers in the QAFL).
BC: What do you doing for work?
Jono: I have a property Maintenance Business in Noosa.
BC: What are some of the things you learnt being apart of the reigning Premiers with Aspley that you maybe able to help our group at Noosa AFC?
Jono: Level of professionalism from both the playing group and club. Driving that winning culture and the commitment and buy in from the whole playing list.
BC: What do you want to achieve at Noosa AFC in 2024?
Jono: Player:
Personally: Keep evolving as a leader both on and off the field and help drive the winning culture around the whole club. I have a real passion for being involved in the Junior Development Program as I am a by-product of that in the past.
Team: Love to play Finals football again and help eventually get a premiership for the Tigers
Ben Collins Comments: What enormous news for us to be able to attract Freeze back to Noosa, fresh off having a massive finals series kicking 9 goals in 2 games plus winning Aspley’s Best Finals player. The fact we were able to have Jono agree to coming back and help Noosa become a powerhouse in the QAFL is such a great thing for our footy club.Jono was so excited about the prospect of being back involved with old teammates Lewy & Ritchie from back in their Lions days but also the opportunity to work with Hutchy in our newly formed Junior Development program which was real factor in his decision to return to Noosa. What an exciting prosect for our Junior Development Squad to have the likes of Jono Freemen willing to put his hand up and help develop our junior players at Noosa.Welcome back Freeze, we are so excited to have you back in a Tigers Jumper!
