The next exciting player announcement for 2022 is former Noosa AFC 2 x Best & Fairest winner Tom Templeton, after having a huge impact at Aspley in both the NEAFL & especially this year at VFL Level Tom has agreed to come back to Noosa to help Bolster our playing list for 2022 and lift our chances of getting some success in the QAFL next year. Tom is exactly what we need to elevate our Midfield to what is required at this level and we couldn’t be more happy to have Tom back at the Tigers

Noosa AFC: Welcome to Noosa Football Club, what made you decide to play for us in 2022?
Tom: I’ve enjoyed testing myself at the highest level I could for a few years & with Aspley leaving the VFL at the end of this season I thought it was the perfect time to come back to Noosa help the club improve in the QAFL. I have some really close mates here and I’m excited to be back
Noosa AFC: What would be your best position?
Tom: I love playing in the midfield
Noosa AFC: What club have you come from?
Tom: Aspley (VFL)
Noosa AFC: What do you do for work?
Tom: I’m a Landscaper/Pool Tiler
Noosa AFC: Do you have any other hobbies away from Footy?
Tom: I don’t really do much to be honest, but I do love my fishing
Noosa AFC: Career Highlights?
Tom: Id love to say a premiership but I haven’t been able to get that success yet however some personal highlights include winning 2 x Best fairest at Noosa, Playing at VFL Level & Playing for Vic Country at Sate level
Noosa AFC: What AFL club do you support, who is you Favorite Former player & Current AFL Footballer?
Tom: I’m a Carlton Supporter, My Favorite all time player is Chris Judd & current player I love watching is Dusty
Noosa AFC: What do you want to achieve at Noosa AFC both personally & as a team in 2022
Tom:
Personally – I’d love to become a real leader among the playing group & obviously have a big impact in our midfield
Team – Just get the best out of ourselves, we need to put the work in and leave no stone unturned next year
